Spatial Distribution of Groundwater Level over Lowlands of Morang District of Eastern-Nepal

A better understanding of spatial distribution groundwater level is necessary for the development strategies and sustainable use available resources. The present study evaluates over Morang Administrative District Eastern Nepal accessibility area. was realized by performing an extensive field survey during post-monsoon season 126 sites. area 1224.80 km2 gridded at 3 km x horizontal grid resolution least one ensured each point. Downscaled achieved interpolating observed data using Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) with different weighting parameters geostatistical module ArcGIS. performances interpolation methods were evaluated based on cross-validation results characterized statistical RMSE, R2 MAE optimal power (α) function.
